Recreation

Lagan Valley Regional Park forms a corridor of river walks and parkland that is ideally situated between the cities of Lisburn and Belfast providing easy access. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty attracts many visitors, some to enjoy the beauty of the River Valley with its iconic views and vistas, others to embrace the outdoors with all the challenges it presents. The beautiful landscape, river and rich biodiversity along with the wide range of recreational activities and users can be a challenging for those who manage the Regional Park. As such we ask that users enjoy the Regional Park responsibly, show consideration to other users. This section gives the visitor some information on what activities take place throughout the Regional Park and provides links to many of the organisations who are actively involved in those activities.
